Hi,
On the 1st of December I bought a EyeTV Sat receiver from Hardware.nl. From memory, the delivery date was between 5 and 7 days but I might be wrong. I didn't write it down anywhere but I knew it wasn't more than 2 weeks because I planned to have time to install it before Christmas.
On the 8'th of December I sign on to see what is happening with my order. I find the delivery date is changed on the order to the 27th of December. That is too late for me so I contact them to cancel the order. they tell me I can have a voucher but if I want my money back I have to pay them fees. I said but you changed the delivery date. They said they get those from the supplier so they take no responsibility. So, voucher or fees. I signed in the next day trying to figure out what to do and I find the delivery date on the order is now 14th of January 2011. I then, by chance go back to the product page and what do I find? The estimated shipping date for my item is 4 to 11 days even though they are telling me after I hand over the money that it will be 44 days!
So, during selling, they suck you in with a short delivery period, and then after you pay, they stretch it out for over a month. And if you want your money back, they charge to fees. They win even if they never actually deliver a single product.
Very nice way to start Christmas.
I have emails and screenshots for all of this.

Re: Hardware.nl bait and switch
As well I hade a bad experience with them.
I ordered a laptop on their website and paid for it.
It turned out that they didn't have it and well so far no problem for me (it happends to many online stores). But instead of reimbursing me immediately, they tried to give me a replacement product multiples time. I needed to call them four times and resend them all our correspondence to finally get a clear message that I would be reimbursed "a.s.a.p". After two weeks and still no money back on my account I asked them what was happening. I got the answer:"payments are done a.s.a.p. but within the legal 30 days".
So basically they kept my money (~850 euro) for exactly 30 days before reimbursing me. I lost money with phone calls and time.

Re: Hardware.nl bait and switch
Lijkt me stug dat men dit bewust doet.
