I am "new in the town" and I would like to know about which insurance company offers the best deal for health insurance? With "best" I mean - reasonably expensive/cheap, good conditions.

I am looking forward your reviews, experiences, which ones are u using and would suggest or avoid? No google copy paste, just personal experience, please!

That depends on what you want are you single ? Do you have kids ? How is your health? Do you need a dentist and so on .

There are currently about 1100 different healthcare packages in the Netherlands. There really is no way to give you any good advice about this. What I think is important, may not be important to you. I need a lot of medication, need transportation to hospitals and don't need much dental care. You could be in an entirely different situation and need completely different things from your insurance. I'm personally insured with ONVZ and I'm very happy about them. But what works for me may not work for my neighbor.

It is important that you find somewhere a reliable source that explains the dutch health insurance system to you. It is very complicated. There is an obligation by law to take a private healtinsurance. This costs you about €110 a month for each adult. Children under 18 donnot pay.
Furthermore you have to pay a certain percentage until a certain amount of money. The employer pays, but when you donot have an employer you pay yourself ( by way of the tax administration). It is about 8 %. The system has its base in a law, the zorgverzekeringswet, ZVW, = health insurance law.

You can make your choice. I advise you to choose a company that communicates well in English. I would suggest Delta Lloyd ( belongs to CZ group), or ASR group , or ONVZ.
