heeft iemand anders een mail gekregen van het engelse kantoor van BMW dat je emailadres samen met 9 anderen is uitgeloot en dat je daardoor een BMW en een geldprijs hebt gewonnen?

Eerst vragen ze alleen naam, adres en leeftijd, dan krijg je de opdracht om contact op te nemen met een soort transportbedrijf en die willen vervolgens een kopie van je paspoort en ongeveer duizend euro vooraf betaald hebben om de auto te kunnen verschepen.

Hieronder de 2e en 3e mail. (persoonlijke gegevens heb ik weggehaald)

En om die gasten te dollen kun je natuurlijk ook antwoorden dat je toevallig binnenkort in Engeland op vakantie bent en dat je de auto graag komt afhalen...

Of je stuurt alvast een rekening voor de koffie die je klaar hebt staan voor de bezorgen. Weten ze daar in Engeland wel wat een goeie bak Hollandse koffie wel niet kost?

Zou best eens kunnen wat jij zegt, alleen steek ik niet mijn kop in het zand, maar mijn nek uit, en laat ik mijn mening niet afhangen van wat de massa vindt dat ik moet vinden.

dit is een zogenaamd "advance fee scam" ook bekend onder de namen 419 en Nigerian Scam

Er bestaan duizenden varianten hierop. Ze hebben echter altijd de zelfde strekking. Er wordt iets geweldigs aangeboden, maar je moet eerst even een kleine betaling doen. Administratie kosten van 1000 euro bijvoorbeeld, dan denk je tja dat is niet erg ik krijg toch een BMW. Trap er echter niet in, want zodra je hebt betaald zijn ze weg met je geld.

De meest voorkomende zijn "Loterijen" en zonen van oliesjeiks die hun geld even op een buitenlandse rekening (de jouwe) willen stallen.

Dus, gewoon een mailtje terug sturen met "fukoff scammr" terug sturen.
