I understand what you mean. The answer to this is that it’s an approved solution building a machine. The difference in ASKO, compared to other manufactures, is that the chassi is not a part of the machine meaning its “just” a cover for the drum. Other brands uses often a bellow (bälg in Swedish) that makes the chassi to a part of the vibrations. Both systems has there pros and cons.
There is no more security than that you see from outside but in combination that there isn’t that much movement in drum in action so is it an approved solution to build washing machine on. We have never heard a single accident due to the construction but I understand your concern from a parent view.
